“In the realm of digital image security, a new reversible data hiding scheme for encrypted JPEG bitstreams has been introduced. This innovation ensures the privacy of secret messages and the integrity of valuable image carriers. The research presents a format-compatibility and file size preserving encryption algorithm, followed by an adaptive RZL rotation-based method for hiding data within the encrypted streams. This allows for the extraction of messages and the recovery of the original image without loss, demonstrating superior performance in embedding capacity and preservation of file size and format.”
